Our 200 hour Yoga certification schedule is strictly based on yogic principles, a training starts with a morning practice at early sunrise. It is the best time of the day to experience the power of asana, pranayama and sadhna /meditation. There is a short break for breakfast and a healthy food is served for you to get well nourished for rest of the day.

The schedule follows with a lecture and some yoga practice. Lunch is served during the midday time with yogic and Ayurveda foods. There is a meditation/chanting class in the afternoon. A dinner and thereof rest and relax for the next morning.

Although we abide by traditional style of teaching yoga, we still have incorporated Sivananda, Pattabi jois and BKS. Iyengar style into our teachings. We are highly influenced by BKS Iyengar, so props are included into our asana practices to ensure correct alignment and posture. Except for asana perfection using the props, our accent is on the focus of mind and regulation of breath.

Every asana is utilized as tools so as to guide you gain your usual meditative state. It will help focus your mind in more evocative ways which can deepen your practices. If your goal is to be a yoga instructor, you’ll become very sure with sequencing, guiding principles of breath movement and focusing and complete knowledge of eight limbs of yoga as offered by Maharishi Patanjali through our philosophical class and different kinds of a meditative session.

We consider the practices of Ayurvedic living to be very important and so they must be combined together with yoga to accolade the advantages of yoga. We also have incorporated lots of teachings on science of Ayurveda.   • Human anatomy: skeletal, muscles, respiratory, digestive, nervous and hormone system
  • Anatomy and physiology in relation to yoga: Prevention of illness etc.
  • The different layers of the human body (Koshas)
  • Pranayama – different breathing techniques (Nadi shodhan, surya bhedana, chandra bhedana, sheetali shitkari, kapalabhati)
  • Shat Karma, Noulli-Neti dhouthi-tratka – kapalabhati – shankhaprakshalana
  • Meditation (Chakra meditation, kundalini meditation, guided Vedic meditation and other dynamic meditations)
  • Yoga Nidra (progressive relaxation)
  • Chakra Systems (energy centers)
  • Ayurveda: specific food, the different dohas etc.

You – As a yoga teacher

As the name suggests “Yoga teacher training”, the initial goal of this course in to develop “you” as a perfect & learned yoga teacher who can then develop and spread yoga to the world. The personal work of yoga practice is the best way to prepare to teach yoga classes, but we will also look more deeply into methods of teaching. During the course we will practice aspects of yoga teaching on each other, which will include planning and teaching classes and sequences, using props and aids and helping students to modify poses so that they can get the most out of the practices. Upon completion of the course You will be awarded the Yoga Alliance certification.
